Ceramic veneers are manufactured in cases of patients with sparse teeth, shape or size change of teeth or even teeth discoloration.

KDL dental lab uses Icoclar Vivadent’s IPS EMAX system for veneer manufacturing.

Icoclar Vivadent’s IPS EMAX system is also used for the manufacturing of ceramic inlays and onlays, thus achieving maximum teeth usability and perfect esthetics.

Ceramic inlays and onlays are characterized by durability and offer very tasteful results.

olokeramikes1IPS e.max lithium disilicate

Lithium disilicate glass-ceramic (LS2) is ideal for manufacturing isolated monolithic restorations. This revolutionary ceramic offers impeccable esthetics and, compared to other ceramics, is 2.5-3 times more durable. As long as it is supported by a zirconium oxide frame, it can be used for the manufacture of posterior bridges.

At the lab, this material is combined with pressing or CAD/CAM methods. Given the high strength of 360-400Mpa, these restorations offer more agile welding options. Depending on the particular mouth condition, restorations can be covered by highly tasteful materials or undergo superficial modification as isolated restorations.

Even in cases of dyschromic stumps, ceramic restorations can be manufactured. Please inform the lab of the stump’s color, and then the right tone of IPS EMAX lithium disilicate will be selected, in order to restore the patient’s natural tooth aesthetic.
