KDL lab has been operating in self-owned premises since 1984. Since the very beginning, goal of the lab has been the monitoring of the latest technologies in dentistry.
In January of 1990 the lab was moved to new facilities, at 24 I. Sfakianaki Str, where it has remained up to this day. It was there that the new, 120m2 lab was founded, rigged with the most state-of-the-art equipment and workspaces from the German Freuding Labors company. The laboratory equipment has been routinely renewed, in pursuit of the highest service quality.
In August 2013, the lab equipment underwent radical restoration, as required by the rapid developments in technology. The implementation of CAD CAM (Computer-Aided Design, Computer Aided Manufacturing) technology and the replacement of all equipment by newer took place.
Exploiting the technology and knowhow of GC, the largest dentistry company, a Scanner of 5microns accuracy was purchased. A 5 S2 IMPRESSION cutting machine for CNC metal, Zircon, Ceramics and PMMA was opted, from the German VHF company.
Additionally, cooperation with other labs takes place for the manufacturing of metal frames, using the Laser Sintering repair method for metals. Finally, the KDL laboratory collaborates with GC, a Belgium based company, for the cutting of personalized abutments and implanting works.
